Jordan arrived today in San Diego! He will be visiting for a few weeks, and part of that time we will be traveling up the coast, with the real destination being to visit his father in Oregon, but we will see what other kinds of things we will be able to fit in along the way. For starters, we are spending the weekend in San Diego!
At the airport
Pam sent a souvenir along with Jordan that she and the family picked out for me while they were in Pennsylvania a few weeks ago. And Pammy made me a nice card to go along with it.
After dropping our bags off at the hostel, we walked around and went to find some dinner. We found some good food (I got lobster tacos and Jordan got pulled pork) and drinks at a place called "The Local". We then stopped in at the "Lucky Bastard Saloon" for a couple more drinks. They had saddles at the bar for barstools.
It's a saddle.
By the time we left here, it was pretty late, so we decided to call it a night and rest up for tomorrow.
