Tonight, my friend, Chris, took me to a show at the McCallum Theater in Palm Desert. We saw the Desert Symphony Orchestra and "Almost Elton John". Almost Elton John is a man named Craig Meyer who impersonates Elton John and plays his music -- he actually looks a lot like him and he also can sing just like him. It's pretty uncanny!

He had costume changes twice during the show -- I only got photos of two of the three outfits.
I only just realized that the only blurry thing in this photograph is the woman in the bottom right corner. She was kind of out of control. I don't know if you've seen that SNL skit where Melanie Hutsell insists on standing and dancing at a Van Morrison concert when *everyone* is sitting, but that happened earlier in the night (before everyone stood up). She also was cheering when the orchestra was playing, which is just really strange behavior.
